I photograph what’s dear to me. I’m interested in exploring the collaboration that exists (and sometimes doesn’t) between my children and I.

I look for images that describe playfulness, expressive responses and an unrepeatable instant. My need to photograph my children stems from the idea that I can encapsulate their childhood in an image and somehow create a trigger for a memory. My work originates from spontaneous play, and it's balanced by my children's growing self-awareness and new sense of autonomy.
